All you need to know so you can YEEP! like a pro.

YEEP! lockers are a self-service postal box made up of different sized lockers that can be used to receive and return parcels. They are an easy and convenient out-of-home delivery option that will help your city reduce pollution and traffic. Multiple delivery companies and online retailers are signed up the scheme.

London parcels volumes are set to double to 1 billion by 2030. Currently 90% of these deliveries are to home addresses. This could mean over 20,000 parcel delivery vans on our roads.

YEEP! and Hounslow are working together to provide accessible out-of-home delivery lockers in all neighbourhoods, so you’re no more than 250m from an out-of-home delivery option. The trial scheme aims to consolidate deliveries for delivery companies which will reduce the number of vans needed to deliver parcels in our local neighbourhoods. By doing this we hope to reduce emissions, improve air quality and make residential roads safer and less congested.

Our carrier partners will determine the actual way you can interact with our lockers and will communicate this to you as part of the delivery process, but there are 2 simple ways of doing this.

1. At the locker
Collect your parcel from your chosen YEEP! locker at a time that works for you. When you arrive at the locker press the C button on the key pad to wake it up. The scanner will light up, then simply key in the security code or scan your QR code sent from the carrier via e-mail or SMS to open the door to your locker.

2. Using the APP
If you are using the app just follow the instructions and you can open the door using your phone!

Our carrier partners will determine the actual way you can interact with our lockers and will communicate this to you as part of the returns process, but there are 2 simple ways of doing this.

The scanner will light up, then simply key in the security code or scan your QR code sent from the carrier via e-mail or SMS to open the door to your locker.
 
2.Using the APP
If you are using the app just follow the instructions and you can open the door using your phone!

The lockers are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Yes, lockers are free to use.

To find your local locker download the YEEP! app for the latest locations.

Lockers are being installed in neighbourhoods based on the density of the area and existing out of home delivery options including parcel pick up and drop off shops. Each new location will need to go through a validation process which includes health and safety, security and access requirements. If you would like to request a new locker to be introduced in your area, please get in touch here.

All retailers that use carriers integrated into the YEEP! network will deliver to the lockers.

Yes!

YEEP! lockers are available to drop off parcels utilising a YEEP integrated carrier.

Drop off the parcel at chosen YEEP! locker at a time that works for you. Our carrier partners will determine the actual way you can interact with our lockers and will communicate this you as part of the collection process, but there are 2 simple ways of doing this.

1. At the locker
Collect your parcel from your chosen YEEP! locker at a time that works for you. When you arrive at the locker press the C button on the key pad to wake it up. The scanner will light up, then simply scan the parcel barcode to open the door to your locker. If the door is too small, scan the parcel again to open up a bigger door.

2. Using the APP
If you are using the app just follow the instructions and you can open the door using your phone!

Your parcel return will utilise the carrier that sent the parcel, the carrier will keep you informed of your parcels progress as they would normally.

YEEP! lockers are designed for maximum security and are vandal proof. The location and security of the lockers have been considered during validation process before installation. If you have a query or would like to report a security issue, please get in touch via helpdesk@yeeplockers.com

Yes!

YEEP! lockers are available to use by any local business utilising a YEEP! integrated carrier.

YEEP! lockers will be installed in areas that are wide enough to maintain access for other pedestrian users. When selecting YEEP! as a delivery destination you will be able to select ‘restricted access’ this will restrict the lockers used to the lower section of the locker bank.

The lockers are designed for parcels up to a maximum of 69cm (h) x 37cm (w)x 55cm (d), weighing up to 20kg.

Reporting issues

Yes!

The lockers aren’t connected to power or data connections so can be quickly moved when needed. If you think a locker is in the wrong location or if you think it is blocking an access, please get in touch via helpdesk@yeeplockers.com
